Use deodorant. Oh, wait. Aspiring. Ok. Read a lot. Check out whether you have any stories to tell. I suppose some writers are successful writing formulaic stories but to me good writing comes from having something to convey. I don't mean a "moral" or "message". Just a story to tell.
