Roberta L. Smith I am always a little amazed when I finish writing a book. Sometimes people ask, "Where did the idea come from? How did you think of all those characters and the story?" I might be able to answer where an idea came from, how it all started, but never how it all came together. It is a very mysterious process. As for if it is all it's cracked up to be. Yes! But there are lows, too. That's life.
