I read about your health issues and all, so perhaps if you tell us how you are, we would be able to figure out how is your future as a writer and as the friend we have come to appreciate and care for, not only for the magnificent books that you have given us, but also for the kind and witty human being that you are. Andrew Ashling Hi Marta,

Thank you for asking. I'm actually doing much better, though I'm still very low on energy. This surprises me since my pneumonia was three years ago. Of course, in the mean time, life happened. Nothing major or dramatic, but some time consuming things needed to be taken care of.

I've started writing again, but nothing yet that is fit for human consumption. There is a longish short story in the Just Don't Mess With Us universe. There are also single scenes which one day will fit somewhere in the world of Anaxantis. So it's not as if I've given up on or grown tired of the many, many characters that inhabit it.

I'm also planning to write a few articles that should clear up — or at least discuss — a few unorthodox choices I made while writing The Dark Tales of Randamor the Recluse. I think when these start to appear you can safely say that I'm writing again on a regular basis. When that will be… I can not say yet. Sorry.
