How do you get inspired to write?

Cliff Seruntine Getting out in nature is what inspires me most. I find if I go hike, spend time among the trees and wildlife, ideas flow into my mind. Sometimes the ideas come so fast that, for me, writer's block is struggling to decide which idea to focus and turn into a book next.
