What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Kimberly Davis Basso The best thing about being a writer, truly, is getting feedback from readers. I realize that's a very pageant answer, but I am still amazed that someone would 1) buy it 2) read it and 3) take the time to tell me what they thought. It's remarkable - because writing a book has been a very different experience for me. In the past, I've written plays, and the feedback is immediate - I get to hear exactly what the audience thinks as I lurk in the back of the theater. So, again, thanks to everyone who's been kind enough to chat with me about "I'm a Little Brain Dead." I appreciate it.
