Read a lot of contemporary books in your genre and don't be afraid of doing a creative writing course or reading books about the craft. I struggled with plotting and found John Yorke's 'Into the Woods' invaluable. I also took a self-edit course with The Writer's Workshop (now Jericho Writers) which was the best thing I've ever done for my writing.

I purchased the Kindle book on Amazon. It is called "My Silent Daughter "> I went to Audible to buy the accompanying audiobook so I could switch from reading to listening and it Is shown as "Where I found you" on Audible. The cover photo is the same and author name the same. Is it the same book?
