I was an advertising copywriter for 30 years working on blue-chip accounts. I had to deliver the goods. It was great training for novel-writing. I write every day, and rewrite the next. For me, the trick is to keep writing. It's like anything, the more I do it, the more I enjoy it. I love what I do.
