Hi Christine, I love reading the Dark Series. I have a question about Lifemates. Are female lifemates always born after the male is born? We see that Gary's lifemate is still an infant as she had to be born after he was re-born . But in case of Ivory and Razvan, Ivory went to the mage school and knew Rhiannon, so doesn't it mean that she was born way before Razvan? How can they be lifemates in that case?

What exactly happens to a Carpathian female if she looses her lifemate? I know they don’t turn vampire but choose to walk in the sun instead. But does that mean it’s a conscious decision because of the grief? Can they choose to live longer for whatever reason like Arabijela did? Would they still be immortal or would they waste away and die? Did Arabijela choose to age and die like a human or was she already dying?
