Got an update for your demonic fans on the progress of any books?

J.L. Langland Hi,

They are moving, albeit a bit slower than I would like. I've just been very busy with my day job and so only have short periods in the evening to write. However, while overall writing has been slow this last month, actual plot/planning had taken some big steps forward, particular with the Oak Orks where I'd had some letters to fill in between the known A,B,C---X,Y,Z.

For the first three books I was able (and could and did) take several months off between contracts (jobs) and just write. This time, there is no between job time to take off and dedicate to writing. So I lose focus during the day and have to regain it at night.

Actually, book 4 sort of writes itself, there is so much going on...the other ones are a bit trickier because their stories don't have the same momentum, plus they have different story archetypes than the main series. And so take me a bit more adjusting to/have a different learning curve on how best to tell.

I am also finding it surprisingly frustrating to tell a story from a single POV....even though until DoA, that was the only way I'd ever written stories...I think because they are all in the same multiverse, at the same time, and some of the same crazy cast of characters are there operating behind the scenes--it all has the same feel, so I keep wanting to tell other viewpoints, but am trying to avoid that to focus more on the main character's thread.
