I spent so many years as an advertising copywriter trying to make other people happy that I decided one day I’d try to write things I enjoyed. I think that’s really the key to my writing. I’m so thrilled and appreciative when other people like it but primarily I try to make myself happy. And if you’ve read either of my books you’ll see I’m easily amused.
