Well, in truth, it came out of an unmentionable situation. I started down the path of the book reflecting the "stuff" of said situation. When I stepped back and saw the potential for the story being more PG-13 instead of unrated R (director's cut), I pivoted. I then re-wrote the introduction completely and the ideas never stopped. The end product is something I'm proud to call mine.
