Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Ellen Hamilton I've been writing short stories recently, so I guess I could talk about my most recent story instead of a book.

A long time ago, meaning like at the beginning of this year, I had signed up as a Listener at 7cups.com. I was assigned a random username, Starry, and I liked it so much that I kept it.

The username inspired me to write a short poem about how I could be a star shining bright, giving hope, and helping people cope. That poem, in turn, inspired me to write a short story about a man lost in the desert. I have not yet presented it to the public eye, but I hope to, soon.
