How do you get inspired to write?

Glenn Stevens Blame that on a creative imagination. Ever since grade school, I have always had a storyteller kind of mind. I love to tell stories or see different ways of telling stories, especially vampire stories. And I mix a lot of reality into my stories making them more believable. The world of romance and love mixed with the world of insects, viruses, and parasites are worlds full of ideas for vampire stories. Then there are the true revelations such as viruses being able to change DNA, parasites taking over minds, love creating its own chemistry in the brain and being able to bring it all together into an interesting story. The feeding habits of spiders are unreal, even the female mosquito hunting for a victim can be interesting. Inspiration comes from the fiction and non-fiction world.
