How do you get inspired to write?

Ari Shaffer I am inspired by everything! The other day I was at lunch with a friend and noticed the severe angle of the street and thought about how remarkable it was that the cars didn't all slide to the bottom. That gave me an idea to use in my next book where one of the characters is grappling with anxiety attacks. I am inspired by art, by actors, movies, books, friends. I think it's about being willing to be in that mindset - we're surrounded by remarkable and astounding things.
