What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Charles T. Daube People's reactions are great, especially when they gain a new perspective and perception of who you are through your writing. I've been very surprised by the overwhelming support from readers and friends. But, the best part is just having a creative outlet to express myself. Even if I never decided to be published, I would still write. It is extremely cathartic, meditative, and truly makes you appreciate all of the world's fine details.
