Goodreads asked Sharon Michaels:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Sharon Michaels Writer's block is a very real thing! Sometimes it's like my fingers are glued to the keyboard and they can't move. My mind goes blank.

I keep a notebook with writing ideas. Every time I think of something I feel will make a good story, I write the ideas in my little book. On those days when my fingers won't move, I get out my notebook and find something that interests me. I just start writing. Even if my writing seems jumbled and not coming together, I keep writing. Nine times out of ten, I pull together a story. Then I go back, clean it up and tweak it.
