How do you get inspired to write?

Pam Robertson Inspiration to write comes from many sources. Sometimes, it's a dream that gets me thinking about something, and other times it can be an event I learn about through the news. I start taking the idea and rolling it around in my head, then sit with a big cup of coffee nearby and start doodling some notes, asking questions, and doing the research. The further I get into the story, the more inspired I am to keep working on it.
