How come in all your Funjungle books, the map on the inside cover says that the Great Flight Cage is 'coming next year'?

Mr Gibbs, The first time I read one of your books, I was just starting middle school. I read the first three entries of Spy School and I loved it. Since then, I haven't read any of the new releases, and I'm going to be entering my senior year of high school soon. If I were to pick this series back up again, do you think it would be appropriate at my age? Or is it still for kids around middle school aged? Thanks!
