How do you get inspired to write?

Morgan True Blum For me writing is a form of escape when reality gets too dark, or too boring. I've struggled with depression and anxiety most of my life and writing has always been a way to help me cope. Because of this, some of my most inspirational writing periods have been brought on by difficult times, long car rides, or sitting in a waiting room. It's like they say, necessity is the mother of invention, and I just so happen to need a lot of comforting and a lot of entertainment haha!
