How do you get inspired to write?

Eden Rayna I actually get a lot of inspiration from music. Little one-liners can be the basis for a story, such as "Are we written in the stars or are we written in the sand" by Old Dominion, or "When was the last time you did something for the first time?" by Darius Rucker. I think of how those can be applied to a character or a scene and build from there.
