What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Luke Summers Read. Read. Read. I can't stress enough the importance of reading! You can learn so much about the style of other authors. Pick what style you like the most. Would you write from a third person or first person. Then write! Write about anything. Before I wrote Samara Island and the Blood Witch, I wrote 5 full-length novels. And if somebody tells you that you can never be a writer, just prove to them that you can by writing your very first story. But don't be fooled, it takes a lot of energy, creativity and dedication to be a writer.
