Honestly, I kind of go crazy if I DON'T write. Sometimes I just have to find something to work on, whether it's a blog, a random short story or rewrites on a project I've been putting off. Of course, the optimal situation is when a stellar idea comes to you and you can't stop thinking about it, at which point inspiration doesn't matter because you can't help but follow the story down the rabbit hole and see where it goes.
