The best thing about being a writer at this point in my life is that I have time to write! This was not always the case; raising three children, working as a copywriter and a teacher, did not allow me long, quiet periods of creative inspiration. I wrote short stories and poetry in those years. I wrote my first novel when my youngest was 16. No regrets; I have greats kids.
