Jay Izso Learn as much as you can about the business of books. I made so many mistakes that never gave me a true ROI. Also, know that stats...99% of books never sell 1000 copies in a lifetime. This is not an industry you are gong to get rich at. As a matter of fact it is becoming more of a vanity industry, because so many people self-publish. Do it right! Spend the money! Hire the best people you can afford! Always be excellent! Use the book as a platform to speak from...not as a source of income.
