Thanks, Michael for persisting to become not just an author but the best selling writer in your genre. I have listened to all of the Ryira Chronicles and now am listening to Winters Daughter. I listened to your office notes. Your struggles to write have paid off. Congratulations to you and Robin. You inspire me. What should I read next in your series of books?

Hey Grace! Thanks so much for taking the time to write. I'm so glad to hear you are inspired to do some writing of your own. Getting published isn't easy, but you know, the writing is the important part, so as long as you are enjoying that, that's what matters most.
If you've read the Riyria Chronicle tales, then you definitely should pick up Theft of Swords (first book in the Riyria Revelations). While Chronicle is "ongoing" -- next book (Drumindor), the Revelations series is 100% complete and it will give you a lot of insight into Royce and Hadrian and where there friendship goes.
If you like those books, then next up will be Age of Myth. It's the first book in the Legends of the First Empire series, and it tells the truths about a number of lies that I weave about the history of Elan throughout the Riyria stories.
Thanks again for writing, and I hope your writing goes well!

if i buy a hardback / paperback copy of a book, is there a reason i can not get a copy of the digital version? presumably most authors send digital copies to the publisher and so not much effort goes into 'kindleising' it. i would have bought the hardback of AOS (amazing and reviewed) if this was the case money was lost. so i am not sure why this doesnt happen, afaik the paperback costs more than the kindle

Michael, I would like to know if you have thought about continuing on with Royce's Story? The Riyria story was concluded with what seemed to be a new beginning. A huge change for Royce in particular. Will we get a chance to see what happens next? I really would love more! Riyria=never boring or old whether Royce and Hadrian are separated or not. P.S.ALL your novels are Brilliant! More is always better! From, Adrian

Hi Mike! I have a question about Revelations, as compared to Chronicles. Reading the Riyria Revelations, I found myself liking Arista a lot more than Alric. However, when I read the Riyria Chronicles, I felt the opposite. Was it your intention to create this difference in the characters likability between the two series?
