Goodreads asked Kerry Frey:

How do you get inspired to write?

Kerry Frey My inspiration comes from the desire to entertain and provide thought provoking scenarios. I like to spin tales that make the reader question the plausibility of a plot point, yet at the same time wonder if that "could" in fact happen. For instance, the idea surrounding a secret buried WWII government facility (Buried Lie) in the southern Arizona mountain region is ridiculous...or is it? There are parts of Ft. Huachuca that are classified and kept from public view. Why? The idea that your mind can enable you to travel across time (Shadow of the Flag) and experience the past is ridiculous...or is it? Whose to say that DNA transferred from generation to generation does not contain hidden experiences untapped by our brain's capability? These are the types of scenarios that inspire me to write.
