I have been a long time fan of Anne Rice. She was the first author to tell a vampire story from the perspective of the vampire. And while some of her characters did evil things, she also had characters that felt remorse. She showed a hint of humanity in her vampires. I wanted to push that boundary even further, and toss out a lot of the accepted mythology about vampires, and have them deal with the same conflict of emotions that humans deal with.

Thank you so very much for this consuming series. For me this series so far has it all powerful characters, men and women, action, power and undying love. Its also funny at times and heartbreaking. I look forwards to the rest of the series. Do you have release schedule for the rest of the series? Thanks Lisa E
