DASL Writer
My advice for aspiring writers is to just do it. I spoke to a family member of a well-known romance author who started out as a self-pub author. Her family member said that her daughter-in-law didn't allow anything to stop her from being a writer. She just did it. And, now she's happier and wealthier for it.
