J.D. Barker:
After JK Rowlings wrote her non-Harry Potter books under a pseudonym some professor figured out she was the real author. With your ability to mimic the style of authors and "hear" their voice do you think you could fool the pros if, say, you finished Austen's Sanditon or Dicken's Mystery of Edwin Drood & claim it was their lost works?
J.D. Barker
Oh, geez, I don't know. I'm not out to fool anyone. With DRACUL the goal was to fill in the blanks between what Bram left behind and the tell story he originally wanted to put out there. I've been transparent about who wrote what. I wouldn't want to deceive anyone. Prior to writing my first novel, FORSAKEN, I spent 20+ years working as a book-doctor and ghostwriter. During that time, six projects I worked on hit the NY Times list with someone else's name on the cover. I can't imagine what it's like to take credit for someone else's work, I could never do it. This would be similar, something I wouldn't do. I enjoy sleeping at night.

J.D. Barker:
For the main characters (Porter, Bishop, Nash, Claire, Kloz, & Poole) we were given a brief description of how they looked. I understand that authors want the readers to create their own depiction on what they look like, but I am quite curious to know how you visioned them?! Are there any famous/known people that come close to what you pictured them looking like? Would love to see these books become a mini/TV series!
