How do you get inspired to write?

Randall J. Barsch I find inspiration everywhere. Open mic nights, art, and personal experience often inspire poetry while my bigger ideas for short stories and novels come from my wild imagination. To make a clearer point, my biggest inspiration is the lack of things I see out in the "real world." I find a constant lack in the wildest of things rambling in my brain not being present out there and I'm bewildered by the fact that I know I'm not alone. This is what motivates me to never give up on my projects no matter how long they take to finish.
