Advice seems a little early as I have only written two books. In my limited experience it's important to write often (I aim for every day) and read a lot. I now have multiple books on the go and listen to audiobooks during any dead time (gym, car etc) It's a great way to speak ideas and it improves your writing without even thinking about it.
