How do you get inspired to write?

Ferguson Crow Everything could inspired me to write; an idea or a memory which pop randomly in my head, a person I see in the street or an event I may experience could start a thought which transform into a novel or short story. I think life in general is what inspired me. Some time that little spark stays there on the back of my mind and that is when I know is a good idea to write about.
