Goodreads asked Sophie Fletcher:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Sophie Fletcher A mindful walk, a game of tennis, meditation, or gardening! Generally, I write for very long stretches in a day, and then I often find it hard to write the next day. So I find that writing one day on and one off works well for me. On off days I make sure that I do something around the book, whether it's uncovering quotes, structural, or even tidying up my files. If I'm really stuck I read an inspirational book. It's really important to continue to read when you are writing. Writer's block is something I never worry about, because I believe that if the intention and you are connected deeply with your topic it will come. The more you stress about it, the worse it gets. Just trust that the words will come. At some point!
