Hi, I'ma soon-to-be sophomore in high school, and since you are one of my fave authors and since I love your books and how interesting they are, I want to ask you: How can I write a not boring (historical fiction) book? Because I want to write an interesting novel about the revolution/uprising/crisis/how unfair the militia is being in (north) Sudan, and I want many people in the United States to know about it.

Hi Saeeda! I love that you want to write this book. If you want to learn how to write historical fiction well, I suggest reading a LOT of it. Writers tend to learn craft mainly by osmosis, I think. Look up all the "best of" hist fic lists you can find from websites like B&N, Buzzfeed, Book Riot, and right here on GR. Begin there and see what style catches your fancy. Make notes on what works for you and especially what doesn't work for you. <3

Will we be getting anymore books or short-stories in the Dimple&Rishi-verse? Also, just wanna let you know that the "Parrot Scene" in TSAS will go down in legend as one of the MOST iconic scenes ever to exist in a book. Hello Sandhya! I'm currently reading, "When Dimple Met Rishi"...so far I am really enjoying it a lot! Even my cat is too since he just chewed on the spine and it's an autographed copy, LOL. Ah well. :) Anyhoo, I have a question...Rishi and Dimple met Leo Tilden at Little Comic Con. I am wondering what made you decide to make the character deaf? I am deaf myself so I am really curious. Thanks! :)
