This may be the best one yet. But of course, I've said that before. I do not know how you churn out such emotional fiction and do it twice a year. This one, like so many others, touched me deeply. Thank you. Is it too early to start looking forward to the next one?
Catherine Ryan Hyde
So wonderful to hear, Ginger. No, I don't think it is too early. The next one will release on December 3rd. It's called "Stay," and is set in the Vietnam era, told through the eyes of a teen boy whose brother is overseas and who is trying to hold two fragile people together at home. As soon as I have promo text and a final cover I'll do a "What's Up Next" blog post about it. Thanks!

Hello. My class is reading Pay it Forward, and it's an amazing, beautiful book. I would like to ask what motivated you to write and finish books, and why you wanted to become an author. I want to become an author when I grow up, and I've already written two book (both of them fanfiction) and I would like to ask how you plan out your stories and your advice for writing. Also, what is your favorite book that you wrote?

If I could give this a 6* I just finished Have You Seen Luis Velez. I just finished Just After Midnight and started this book. So I haven't done anything for 2 days because I could not put the books down. So I am not going to start Stay for a few days....and thanks for being my friend since you are the best author. My question is: How do you come up with all these great books and still ride your horse?

Just finished Just After Midnight and found the character Faith fascinating. I would like to know how you came to write about her strength and courage after leaving a marriage what seemed in a very short time span? I still struggle with decisions I made years ago and working on being more like the character Faith was as she has inspiration me.
