How do you get inspired to write?

Rachel Ellynn M. I watch a lot of drama and horror shows, so that gives me a good handle on emotional content. I write a lot about nature. Some of my best poetry is written when I'm in the car, or drinking my morning coffee. Sometimes a phrase comes to me during a lecture or while I'm out with friends. Regardless of when the random thought comes, I write it down in the little notes app on my phone and look at it later. That notes app does quite a bit of heavy lifting. Also, other books, music, YouTubers, Instagram, Pinterest . . . I consume quite a bit of media and consider the vast majority of it inspirational content.
