Hi Becky! I love your books. In the Bradford Sisters series, what was your inspiration for Bradfordwood and Merryweather? I want to go there and stay at their inn so bad! Is there an actual place that is similar?

Ashley, yes! Bradfordwood was inspired by a real "American castle" called Thornewood. Check it out -- it looks amazing!
I set the town of Merryweather in a part of Washington state that my husband and I visited when we went to the region on a vacation/research trip before I started writing True to You. While there, we stayed at the Alderbrook Resort & Spa. I found the area so lovely, that I used it as the setting for the Bradfords.

Hi, Becky! Love in the Details was my first book I've read of yours. *sorry... You're on my list but I'm in the midst of so many series and trilogies. However, that is not why I'm writing. My question is, is A Love Like Ours a stand alone or does it read best when in the series? : ) Oh, and I really like Love in the Details! : )
