April Henry I love taking a real-life story and adding a lot of twists and turns to it, and/or changing the location, the people involved, etc.

RUN, HIDE, FIGHT BACK (which comes out in August) was sparked by the real-life Kenyan mall shootings, as well as my father getting death threats from a right wing militia-type group back in the 1980s. I'm currently working on a book inspired by the real life Eagle Creek fire in 2017 here in Oregon.

I'm looking for a novel having the taste of Prisoner (2013 Movie), whose plot consists of kidnapped and missing children and in which we can't hear from them until the end of the fiction. Because it should remain mystery for me where actually the child is and by whom he or she was kidnapped. Do you plan to write a book like it or could you recommend some to me?
