Goodreads asked McKenna Rogue:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

McKenna Rogue I wish there was a good answer for this. Writer's Block hits me at different times for different things. Fear of failure, fear of success (yes, this is totally a real thing), exhaustion, unable to figure out the story/character motivations, life throwing a curve-ball, the day job stressing me out, family stresses, really anything can cause it. Dealing with it, is a completely different thing. I think for the most part, what I do is sit down in front of my computer and do something that resembles writing, whether it's working on an outline, a character sheet, just editing or reading through what I've already written, trying to create something completely new. I think the most helpful thing I can do to not let Writer's Block win, is to keep writing. Even if it's hard. Eventually, it gets easier and I break free of it. Never give up! Never surrender!
