Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Paul Berge Muzzy, soon to be released, is a novel partly based on a real event, the 1960 midair collision (United and TWA) over New York City. I was six and living in northern New Jersey when it happened. Front page photos made a lasting impression...meaning scared the crap outa me. Oddly, I grew up to be a commercial pilot and air traffic controller, but the event noodled at me, so Muzzy became my way to explore what was a truly horrible event.
