How do you get inspired to write?

Jonathan Fields For me, I'm in a sort of perpetual rotation between different, yet often complementary creative endeavors. Getting inspired to write has never been a big challenge. Again, that may well be tied to the fact that what I've written and what I'm currently working on is drawn largely from my experience of life, so it's often a process of synthesizing and sharing. Were I to venture into the world of fiction, which I'm getting the itch to do, I'm curious whether I'd have that same ease.
