Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Crystal A. Walker I was toying around with genres that I was interested in writing. I have a list of books and ideas that I want to one day write about, but I knew that as a new indie author that I should narrow my selection to just one. So, I settled on fantasy.

I started out with one primary character and thought about what I wanted to see her do and what capabilities (and limitations) she may have. Then, it started spiraling out from there. I went from one character to almost a dozen in no time. Like a match to a flame, the ideas started to spread and I ended up creating a different world filled with all kinds of drama. It was fun (and challenging) to write and I hope that readers find it enjoyable.
