Goodreads asked Cass Kim:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Cass Kim Just write it!
Also, there comes a point where you have to call it finished. We can edit for years and, depending on our mood, change something every single day. At some point- it isn't perfect (it never is) but it is "good enough" to publish and share.
Also, make sure you have honest beta readers. Sometimes family and friends work. Sometimes they're too nice. We can never get a full picture of how our story reads - we see the details, we know the nuance and lived the characters. Fresh eyes matter. Don't discount the value of an honest (not mean!) beta reading process.
