Also, there comes a point where you have to call it finished. We can edit for years and, depending on our mood, change something every single day. At some point- it isn't perfect (it never is) but it is "good enough" to publish and share.

We can never get a full picture of how our story reads - we see the details, we know the nuance and lived the characters. Fresh eyes matter. Don't discount the value of an honest (not mean!) beta reading process.
