Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Alvaro Cubero Since I can remember, I liked to make up characters and fantastic worlds. I used to write comics when I was a kid. My friends and cousins would play my stories with me. (We even recorded some of them on cassette!) When I thought about Koiné, I put together in a single planet: the eternal youth and beauty of Tolkien's elves, the amazing magic powers of Rowling's wizards, the incredible telepathic abilities of some Star Trek's alien races, the mighty strength of some Marvel's superheroes, and the breathtaking idea of highly evolved beings made of pure energy. Each one as a different breed, with their own culture, idiosyncrasy, language, and history: the Eternals, the Aware, the Thinkers, the Strong Folk, and the Luminescent.

Desde que puedo recordar, me gustaba inventar personajes y mundos fantásticos. Solía escribir cómics cuando era un niño. Mis amigos y primos jugaban mis historias conmigo. (¡Incluso grabamos algunas en casete!)
