What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Gary McDougall Decide if your writing just for you and friends or commercially for readers. If you want to sell books then you need to understand what your potential readers want and speak to that. Also, on the business side, you need to decide if you want to try and get a traditional publisher--very hard to do--, go with a self-publisher company--can be expensive and laden with scammers-- or start your own publishing company--a lot, a lot of work.-- Finally, research, research and research before making any decision.
