i view writer's block as a lack of cohesion in the story's narrative. Typically, my subconscious is telling me that the jigsaw of the story isn't fitting together correctly or the jigsaw isn't complete.
I stop writing and re-calibrate the part I'm unclear on. Often writer's block is realising you haven't turned the headlights on!
