Usually dreams! But sometimes I'll be watching or reading something and I latch onto a notion or relationship from it. Characters are usually where my story begins; I'll work out who they are and normally the story grows from those two or three.

Absolutely loved Kingdom of Thorns. It is probably one of my all time favorite Sleeping Beauty retellings. It felt like it was written for me. I really hope you continue to do retellings and if you do, then fingers crossed you do some of my favorites. My question for you is do you usually outline your story, or do you let your characters lead you?
