Earlier this summer I read 'Reservoir 13 'by Jon McGregor - the disappearance of a 13 year old girl affects a whole community. I particularly admired McGregor's prose and the sheer originality of the book's structure. The same is true of 'When All is Said' by Anne Griffin - a touching portrayal of one man's life and the people who meant most to him.
