Mostly my father (a factory worker) and my mother who were both published writers/poets. Our evenings were spent (all seven kids and parents) trying to identify a line of poetry that someone in the group would share. It was such great fun, in the winter, when it was snowing outside especially and the fireplace was burning and bringing heat into the room.
