I'm curious....what inspired you to center your book around Pawley's Island and these particular women......Did you grow up or live there? Was it family/friends who inspired the characters?

Hello JT,
My husband and I own a condo in Pawleys Island and visit every time we have a chance. I always set up my beach chair by the shell tree. Before Theresa passed away, I promised her I would write about one of our adventures. My friends did inspire this story and we have had some great times together. This story is dedicated to Theresa who I miss very much. If you ever get a chance to visit this area, you should! I love it.

At the end of your book. Jinx at the Greenbrier, you asked for feedback. I have never seen an author do that before and it excites me to be able to share with you. My sister, Diane Chamberlain, is also an author, and I love the way she ends her books, always so satisfying. I think that's what I love the most about yours. You caught me totally by surprise and I felt it was so clever. I truly had forgotten how?
